The 5G-HEART project addresses 5G wireless communication and its evolution across different activity sectors such as health, transport and aquaculture. The HOLDON project aim is to develop a highly sensitive LIDAR detector module for atmospheric surveillance of greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4). This detector will be assessed in relation to its potential capacity for integration into mini-satellites for future operation.
GRENOBLE, France – March 8, 2021 – Taking a critical step toward developing LiDAR systems for widespread commercial applications, CEA-Leti has developed genetic algorithms to calibrate high-channel-count optical phased arrays (OPAs), as well as an advanced measurement setup enabling wafer-scale OPA characterization.
CEA-Leti introduces SPIRIT, the world-first fully integrated neural network on-chip with non-volatile resistive memory. So far, memories were placed outside of chips leading to high energy consumption.
