CEA Leti is member of the steering committee of ADTC since the beginning 22 years ago, and leads already the steering committee. CEA Leti is also strongly involved in the technical program definition of the event and organizes it every 2 years in Grenoble. As ADTC goal is to highlight European projects results, it's a nice opportunity for CEA Leti to present every year its projects results.

  • The European Nanoelectronics Applications, Design & Technology Conference will focus on electronic components, electronic system design, design automation, and manufacturing topics related to micro- and nanoelectronics, which are critical to success for many European companies. Exhaustive research and development in this area have been supported by EUREKA, Horizon Europe, and local governments in recent years. This conference will highlight the exciting and promising results primarily from the PENTA/XECS, ECSEL/KDT & H2020/Horizon Europe projects.

  • This annual event has a clear focus on deep technical discussions between the leading European experts in the addressed fields, independent from the research programs where the individual projects were started. All European projects related to electronic system design, to design technology and to manufacturing topics are invited to contribute to the conference. 


  • The 100 expected attendees will include project managers and leading experts in R&D projects in the fields of nanoelectronics and design technologies and their applications, semiconductor-industry R&D managers, microelectronics experts in applications industries like automotive and industrial, and the major research organizations in the European scientific community. 

    This year, ADTC proposes Technical Sessions on Green Electronics, Risc-V, Automotive, Connectivity and a full half day on recent results on Edge-AI.

    Through each sessions, you will have a current technical status and future trends on the related topic presented by major contributors in the field in Europe.

    RENOBLE, France – April 23, 2024 – CEA-Leti will present seven papers and one poster on its latest developments in microelectronics packaging, including three covering 3-layer integration, at the Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC), May 28-31, in Denver. A pioneer in FD-SOI technology, the institute is at the forefront of heterogeneous 3D integration and enables the combination of More Moore and More than Moore technologies. 3D integration and advanced packaging technologies are becoming mainstream for modular, high-bandwidth, low power consumption and efficient system architectures from consumer and automotive applications to high performance computing (HPC) and edge AI multi-layer smart imagers developed in the frame of IRT Nanoelec. From high-density interconnection (fine pitch hybrid bonding DtoW and WtoW) to ultra-thin stacking layer interconnection with high density TSV and low temperature process, CEA-Leti is pushing the limits of 3D integration. It also is preparing the next generation of quantum computing with a complete set of packaging technologies. ​
