Launch of CEA-Leti 2025 Scientific Report: Making a Major Impact on High-Stakes Industries


​​​As artificial intelligence continues to make significant strides across virtually every industry, 2025 will mark a pivotal year for Europe's semiconductor sector. The opening of the EU Chips Act semiconductor pilot lines will bridge the gap between lab-scale innovations and full-scale manufacturing, facilitating industrial uptake.

The year 2025 highlights CEA-Leti's ongoing commitment to positively impacting society through innovation in high-stakes industries, as evidenced by the milestones achieved over the past year.

The 2025 Scientific Report provides an in-depth look at the research highlights from 2024-2025:

  • Innovations in neuromorphic computing architectures, RRAM, in-memory computing, and FD-SOI to enable high-performance, energy-efficient edge computing.
  • Novel chiplet-to-chiplet interconnects leveraging CEA-Leti's advances in photonics and heterogeneous integration.
  • Progress in system miniaturization to support organs-on-chips, with the potential to reduce animal testing and drive the development of personalized medicine.


The FAMES Pilot Line​, hosted at CEA-Leti, will play a crucial role in developing energy-efficient enabling technologies for these and other applications.
