Manan Suri, who completed his Ph.D. thesis on emerging “Resistive Memory Technologies for Systems and Neuromorphic Applications” at Leti, is included in the 2018 edition of MIT Technology Review’s 35 Innovators Under 35 for his invention of computer chips that mimic the workings of the human brain.
“My PhD at Leti was one of the most fruitful and educative journeys. I learned a lot in that short period. We pretty much raised the neuromorphic NVM activity grounds-up from scratch and took it to a meaningful level” said Manan Suri. “ I plan on continuing to build on the neuromorphic hardware and NVM research activities in our research group at the Indian Institute of Technology- Delhi. While we push some of the more mature research results for commercialization through CYRAN”.
