Bag-Era, bringing critical systems stability

Startup Bag-Era has developed a software environment, LINC, that ensures the coherence of systems made up of hardware, software, and networked services, helping to maintain the stability of critical systems, even in the event of a malfunction.

Bag-Era’s LINC software environment ensures the coherence and operation of critical systems, even in the event of a hardware, software, or network malfunction. LINC was developed using a core technology developed over two decades, in part at Leti, a CEA Tech institute, and at IRT Nano Elec. LINC connects and synchronizes hardware and software not initially designed to run together.

In other words, LINC makes sure that software applications get the most they can out of the available infrastructure, bringing the system both coherence and robustness. Bag-Era uses LINC with a range of toolkits to meet the needs of a variety of businesses and systems.

Bag-Era’s solutions respond to the most demanding industrial IT needs. One of the company’s target markets is industrial IoT. This emerging and very broad market is highly fragmented, and encompasses smart building, smart city, manufacturing, robotically-assisted rehabilitation, irrigation, and other applications. Bag-Era was founded in 2016 and leverages around ten demonstrator systems built with LINC at CEA labs, including a smart parking system developed for 2014 Sustainable Mobility Day that includes heterogeneous, autonomous industrial components.
